5 and 10 km training team led by Coach Stanley Chaisson and Tracey Gairns Brioux beginning on Tuesday, Aug 13th and running until the PEI Marathon weekend!

 

Whether you are attempting your first race or are a seasoned runner, Tracey, Stan and the reset running squad will help you get there.

Description

Stan Chaisson is a Physical Education teacher, competitive marathon runner, outdoor enthusiast and the proud Dad of two young boys, Kaleb and Liam. Stan competed in Cross Country and Track and Field at Dalhousie University. He was named to the CIS (USports) All Canadian Team in 2004. He has run numerous Marathons including the Boston Marathon, 6 times. He currently holds the PEI Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km records and has won the PEI Marathon the last 3 years. Stan has been sharing his passion by helping people reach their running goals for many years. He has led running clinics, designed workout plans and training programs for people of all walks of life, including athletes and sports teams. He’s a strong believer that running provides balance in our lives by enhancing our mental and physical health. ‘You never regret going for a run.’ He’s looking forward to training with you and guiding you towards your running goals!

 

Joining with Tracey, Ironman triathlete, marathon and half marathon runner, Certified Personal Trainer and Stott Pilates Instructor, they have created the Run to Reset Training team.

 

The program will include:

 

Personalized 10 week 5 or 10 km training program & goal setting.
Also will include via private Facebook group:
Online yoga 30 min yoga class
Online guided post run stretch workout
Online Pre-run warm up stretch and foam roll workout
Online Pilates and functional movement class (30 min)
Online Strength training workout using weights

 

Weekly group runs and post run guided stretch and core work. Tentative time is Tuesday at 6:00 pm

 

Bi-weekly Facebook Live Q & A with Coach Stan and or Tracey

 

Facebook live sessions will also cover topics like:
1- Nutrition general and pre, during and post run
2- Mindset and running
3- Benefits of Cross Training- Why we can’t just run
4- Goal Setting
5- Stretching, muscle activation exercises
